Vision Supply (VS) is registered with the State Department of the United States of America in March 2010. It is based in Minnesota. VS is registered with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and intends to expand its services and activities to other countries over the next three years.

The board of directors of the company is a group of international humanitarian and development workers who have extensive experience in this field and supports the organization in terms of policies and strategy directions. Although they meet once a year, Vision Supply provides the board of directors with quarterly progress reports.

The organization has established itself with the key personnel in Afghanistan and receives administrative and financial support from the headquarters in Minnesota. The experienced technical team is now in place in Kabul. The team is made up of national experts who can provide services and resources in Dari, Pashto, and English. They have the capacity to run the VS programs in an efficient way and are in the process of establishing the provincial teams.

Vision Supply’s mission is to empower the most vulnerable groups in conflict and post-conflict countries and provide the resources and technical services needed to improve their lives.

We accomplish this mission by working with a wide range of organizations that implement humanitarian and development projects and programmes that improve the quality of life of these vulnerable groups. We apply international standards to our work to ensure that the provision of resources and technical services will result in success and sustainable outcomes. We work in the following areas: monitoring and evaluation, green apple approaches, and organization capacity building.

Despite expert capacities and knowledge that VS team is bringing to the implementation of its projects, the company strongly believes in building on the results of best practices of development in developing and post conflict countries. Approaches to development and strategies responding to catastrophic issues of communities in difficult areas have been an evolving phenomenon in the past three decades worldwide. Vision Supply has been actively engaged with the knowledge building in this arena through its expert team to adopt new international standards, best practices and relevant methodologies to help its mission in development of Afghanistan and other developing countries. As an active partner to governments and international donors, Vision Supply is strongly committed to implement projects based on the genuine result requirements of its partners using its deep development knowledge and background of best practice application.
